Don Juan Corzo, a reporter for Semana News in Houston, Texas, just received the following text message on his mobile phone: “Due to extremly long lines Obama voters are encouraged to cast their ballot on Wensday.” [sic] What do you think: is this for real? Can anyone identify the phone number: 5129709540? 512 is an Austin area code…
Update: According to Don Juan Corzo, this is an unknown number. (How are these people getting mobile number lists?!) DJC: “I got it this morning, and we decided that it was best to forward to instant-access media outlets whether it could be a joke or not. Univision already warned people about it on the air about an hour ago in La Tremenda. The source number, as you can tell from the picture, is Austin’s area code. I tried calling it back but I got a generic number voicemail. >
